Ultra-nationalist, Erdogan ally Homeland Party leader spills the beans on the coup?

Dogu Perincek who is leader of the Homeland Party (Vatan Partisi) made astonishing claims on Turkish Cem TV.

Perincek, who is known as a leader of ultra-nationalist movement with an anti-Western and anti-American sentiments, claimed that Melih Gokcek, Mayor of Ankara who has been requested to resign by President Erdogan, was informed about  the July 15th coup attempt and that he received this information from the Russians.

Here is this statement:

‘’Troops told us there was going to be a coup. When (Alexander) Dugin (former adviser to Pres Putin) told us that there are some extraordinary movements in the Turkish Military, we asked him to report this to the government. And when he went to Ankara, he told Melih Gokcek, Mayor of Ankara, what he had told us before. The Turkish government knew about the coup attempt in advance. If I knew it, would it be possible for Turkish Intelligence (MIT) not to know it?’’
