Germany withdrew its final Tornado jets from Turkey’s İncirlik base

Germany completed withdrawal of its Tornado scout planes from İncirlik base where it had been there since January 2016 to fight against ISIS, local Turkish media reported.

German government and federal parliament decided to move their forces from Incirlik base to Jordon after Turkey refused the visit request of the members of the German parliaments.

According to German media based on sources from German defence ministry last plane in Incirlik base  came back to Buchel air base this Monday.

Germany had been making discovery flights over Iraq and Suria since beginning of the past year to support the fight against ISIS. German planes expected to start flights again at October from Azrak air base in Jordon.
