Gulmen and Özakça were taken into custody by raiding in their homes on the morning of May 22, and were arrested for membership of the “armed terrorist organization.”
Aygün said that that Özakça lost 21 kilos.
Aygün shared his notes from the social media account and said, “They will end the hunger strike if the government pledges to reemploy those who dismissed from their jobs and if the common opposition declares to be a follower of this issue.”
Özakça said “our arrest was on order” Aygün conveyed and said “Two investigations issued about Özakça: One is going on hunger strike, the other is refusing to shake his shoes even though he took them off. Let me explain the second investigation for you to understand: Any detainee who comes to talk to his or her lawyer is forced to take his or her shoes off, and he or she must shake them in the hands, and this process is inevitably both of arrival and departure. This is one of the arbitrary rules in prison.”
B1 vitamin is not served
Aygun stated that Özakça stayed in a cell by himself for the first two days, then he was transferred to a place where a lad, who was arrested for insulting the president, has been staying. Aygun said, “The doctor examined him when he entered the prison and suggested him to leave the hunger strike, but Semih refused.
“Özakça is examined by a physician three times a day, to take the vitamin B1 and gives B12 to him,” Aygün said from taking the vitamin B1 and gives B12 to him. Semih says he has power dissipation due to not taking B1. We talked with the physician, he told us that he has been doing his best.
