Cumhuriyet Correspondent Göktaş has been unseated from his job at Faculty of Communication, Ankara University

Kemal Göktaş, the justice correspondent at Cumhuriyet newspaper, has been unseated from his job as academic at Faculty of Communication, Ankara University.

Göktaş announced the news via his twitter account.  “There is no dismissal. Due to management discretion, I will no longer give lectures which I gave it as a guest” he said. Göktaş was giving the lecture called as Investigative Journalism and Justice Correspondent.

Since September 1, 2016, 25 academics were dismissed with three state of emergency decree.
