Pres Trump and Erdogan will not take any questions after tomorrow meeting

By Ilhan Tanir, Washington DC

President Trump will meet with Turkish President Erdogan at 12.30pm on Tuesday, the White House noted on their daily guidance.

Washington Hatti previously reported in Turkish on last Friday that the both leaders will not take any questions, nor hold any press briefing after the meeting.

The daily guidance issued from White House confirms the report of WHatti. White House email shows that both leaders will only give joint statements before the meeting.

Unless the set up changes, it seems both leaders will not take any questions.

Vice President Mike Pence will also participate in a working luncheon with Erdogan, expected start 1.15pm.

Last time in a bilateral visit, then PM Erdogan held a press conference with President Obama at Rose Garden and took questions, coincidentally on the same day 4 years ago, 16 May of 2013.
