Turkish judge arrested in court while questioning another judge he recently had arrested for the same accusation

23 judges, who had been removed from their posts previously for having affiliation with Gülen group (FETÖ), were taken into custody in Turkey.

5 arrested on charges of membership to an armed terrorist organization, 11 released and 7 are pending questioning.

Turkey’s Kafkaesque metamorphosis:

According to Damla Güler from Hurriyet Daily, a judge (M.Ö) was arrested while he was questioning his colleague for the bribery accusation that came to public attention few days earlier. Reportedly M.Ö. disclosed some information about the FETÖ and asked for “effective regret provisions” enjoyment.

Another judge (K.B) in Bilecik was also arrested in the middle of an interrogation. He is accused of downloading his mobile, which is registered on his father’s name, the ByLock application considered by Turkish authorites to serve as a secret communication tool among FETO members
