“Secluded brother” operation to the police; 9103 people sacked!

The detainment of 3224 people has been ordered as part of the operation initiated simultaneously in 81 provinces.

An operation was initiated in 81 provinces as part of the ‘FETÖ’ investigation aimed at the police forces.

According to the story by DHA, 9103 people have been sacked so far while the detainment of 3224 people has been ordered as part of the operation initiated simultaneously in 81 provinces.

The statement made by the Office of the Chief Prosecutor in Ankara said “The detainment of a thousand people in 81 provinces who are the civilian secluded imams of the FETÖ members in the police forces has been ordered”.

As the Anadolu Agency reported 8500 police officers joined the operation, the Ministry of the Interior Süleyman Soylu said “1009 secluded imams have been detained in 72 provinces” in his first statement.

“Decision to detain 4224 people”

It has been reported that the Directorate of Intelligence and the Directorate of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime have identified 4224 people who are alleged to be a part of ‘FETÖ’s secluded organization within the police forces. The Office of the Chief Prosecutor ordered the search and detainment of 4224 suspects. It was indicated that approximately 1500 of these suspects were in prison, while some had fled the country.
