According to Dihaber, Confederation of Public Workers’ Union (KESK) Dersim Branches Platform held a press conference on the subject.
Eğitim-Sen Branch Head Süleyman Güler explained the reason for the investigation in his speech: “It is shown as the reason for investigation of our members to be there during the intense interest of colleagues and students on the arrival of exported academics at the university campus to receive personal items and say goodbye to colleagues and students on January 9, 2017.“
Güler also said that exporting our members from the university does not mean that their colleagues and students will be wiped out of their lives.
He completed his words as followings: “It is humanity beyond democratic right to be with them, saying goodbye to them. We did not and will not leave our members alone against this unlawful investigation. We condemn their practices in the form of oppression, discrimination and unjust punishment towards our members. All these anti-democratic and unlawful practices and arbitrariness must end immediately.”
