‘Bejin na’ and Figen Yüksekdağ’s photos are banned in the City of Siirt

SIIRT – HDP’s “Bêjin Na” election song and photos of currently detained HDP Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ were banned in Siirt.

The referendum song of Democratic Party of Peoples (HDP) “Bêjin Na”, banned in Siirt following the cities Van, Diyarbakir, Urfa and Hakkari and photos of HDP Co-Chair Figen were added to ban list. The Siirt Public Prosecutor’s Office took action against song and the photos, acting as a precedent after the Urfa 4th Criminal Court of Justice’s decision to collect, prohibit and seize the photos of Figen Yüksekdağ. Photos of Figen, which were represented on bilbords, were removed after prosecutions decision.

In the letter given by the police to the HDP Siirt Provincial Administration it was emphasized that Figen Yuksekdag was prisoned on charges of terror and her photos would praise her and her terror propaganda.
