“Every step of CHP (People’s Republic Party) MPs are being surveilled”

“This is disgraceful, scandalous and crime, Bekir Bozdağ has to resign and needs to be tried”

In a TV program on KRT channel, CHP Istanbul MP Barış Yarkadaş commented on the recent scandalous responses by Bekir Bozdağ, saying “did you receive an email from USA? Did you reply to it?” after Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made an announcement of “Controlled Coup Attempt” regarding July 15th coup attempt.

Here are some excerpts from CHP Istanbul MP Barış Yarkadaş’s comments…

“The president of our party obviously connected the dots which has not been illuminated since the coup attempt and shared some of his conclusions with public opinion. At the moment, I think what Turkish nation needs to discuss about is something else besides his announcement of “controlled coup attempt”. Right after Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made it public, Minister of Justice, Bekir Bozdağ has said something which would have required him to resign under normal circumstances in another country.  What did Bekir Bozdağ say? “Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, was there an email from USA? And have you replied to it?”…

Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu may disclose whatever evidence he has in hand, if something in doubt or not trustworthy he does not. This matter is something else…

“Bekir Bozdağ basically confessed the surveillance of Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu’s emails”

What we need to discuss here is indeed the fact that he disclosed knowingly or not the surveillance of Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu’s emails. He basically confessed it. What this means that the government has been monitoring very closely and illegally Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu’s emails and they are confessing it. Do you know what this looks like? This is as scandalous as Watergate. How does he know the email he claims Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu got from USA? Actually, there is another scandal among his statements; he says “the email was also sent to an MP of your party”. What does this mean? This means there is an illegal surveillance by the government on all emails, phone calls, communications and where and what all MPs of People’s Republic Party are doing. At this juncture, those who crticized Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu’s statements has to instead hold Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ accountable for whatever he said.
