Prosecutors seek three years in jail for Turkey’s Pro-Kurdish MP Baluken

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP İdris Baluken was arrested in November 2016 and released in January 2017.

Despite the fact that, Baluken had undergone a surgery on his leg, on 16th February, in Ankara, he was taken into custody February 21 after being discharged from the hospital in Ankara and later was arrested. According to reports Baluken facing some severe health problems including to have a paralysis.

He was demanded a penalty of up to 3 years “attending to Halepçe Massacre in 2014” the part of a probe launched by Bingöl 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
