Ertuğrul Yalçınbayır: Abdullah Gül and Bülent Arınç are in favor of the parliamentary system, however they keep silent.One of AKP’s founders and former MP Ertugrul Yalcinbayir commented that “both Gül and Arınç are scared that their family members or close friends might get harmed.”

One of the founding members and former Assistant to the Prime Minister, Ertuğrul Yalçınbayır noted that “Abdullah Gül and Bülent Arınç do not support the proposed changes in Constitution, changing the regime to Presidential system.”
Yalcinbayir: Gul and Davutoglu are silent as they are concerned about their relatives’ safety
Yalcincayir also added that “they are silent as they are concerned about their and their relatives’ safety. One of the founding members and former Assistant to the Prime Minister, Ertuğrul Yalçınbayır came out with shocking statements regarding the referendum taking place on 16th April.“Both Abdullah Gül and Bülent Arınç do not support the proposed changes in Constitution” said Mr. Yalçınbayır. “One of the probable reasons why they do not speak out about their opinions might be the fact that the party be impacted negatively. However, this does not justify their position. They are silent. They are not speaking up as they are afraid of their families/friends being harmed.”
Yalçınbayır mentioned that AKP does not have any ties to its founding philosophy at all.
