Gülmen, who was taken into custody after the announcement she made in front of the parliament, allegedly broke her arm.
Nuriye Gulmen, Acun Karadag and Semih Özakça, who protested losing their jobs because of the purge by the sitting in front of Yuksel Street of Ankara and demanding their job back were detained on the 121st day of their resistance.
Prosecutor’s offices decided them to taken into custody on March 8th , 2017. On March 9th, 2017 after the press conference they held in front of the Turkish Parliament’s Meeting Hall they were taken into custody by police officers.
Gulmen, Özakça and Karadag were taken into custody on charges of the hunger strike which they were going to start on March 11th,2017. Detainees were taken to the Anti-Terror Branch Office.
