Mark Rutte, The Prime Minister of Netherlands, have threatened Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu before his upcoming visit to Netherlands and noted that, they will do whatever it takes except arresting him. “Some people are saying, ‘You need to arrest him at Onu Schiphol’ but we won’t do this,” he said.
Rutte stated that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu’s planned visit to Netherlands on weekend, could cause trouble to relationship between two NATO member countries.
“WE WILL DO ANYTHING EXCEPT ARRESTING”
On Thursday, Rutte attended an European Union summit and he noted, “This is most serious thing that we can do. You can say to a NATO member country’s foreign minister, ‘We know that you are coming to Netherlands, so, don’t come!’”
Rutte added that local authorities most probably won’t allow Çavuşoğlu to attend any rallies.
“WE WON’T ARREST HIM”
“Car with a driver, companion or backup won’t be provided, if you decide to come anyway” he said.Rutte also said ‘Turkish FM can come to visit museums or see tulips’ before.
