Nationalist Union Leader Comes Under Attack When The Leader Declares His Vote Will Be ”No” At The Referendum
Mr. Fahrettin Yokuş, the leader of Turk Buro Sen, a union which has more than 44.000 members, earlier declared that his vote will be ”no” at the presidential referendum, which will be held on April 16. Yokus, revealed his vote after the union meeting in Aydın, a western city of Turkey.
Turk Buro Sen official website stated that, the leader of the union came under attack in Kecioren, Ankara on Saturday. An unidentified person launched an armed attack on Mr. Yokus. Yokus was unharmed but his driver wounded in the attack.
Turkey’s Buro-Sen affiliated with Turkey’s second big union Kamu Sen and Mr.Yokus is also the Secretary General of Kamu-Sen. Recently, Kamu-Sen union leader Mr. İsmail Koncuk’s offices also came under attack because of his declaration that he will vote “no” at the presidential referendum.
