The drama of five children whose mother was detained during a prison visit of her husband, who is allegedly member of Gulen community, or “FETO”Mahmut Tanal, a prominent CHP Istanbul deputy and Member of Human Rights Inspection Commission, tweeted on Monday morning a short footage that claims 5 kids seen in footage left helpless in a car following their mother was detained during weekly visit of her husband. Husband apparently accused of membership of Gulen Community, or now widely referred as “FETO” inside Turkey. A woman is reportedly arrested at Sincan Prison, Ankara, when she went to prison to visit her husband on a visiting day as her 5 children left in the car, in a parking lot of the prison.

CHP’s Tanal said, “These children should not be left alone in this way. It is incompatible with the International Convention on the Rights of the Child and related legal provisions.”
“We’ll be following of this case. The law is of course should be applied. However, someone should take the necessary steps immediately for these 5 children victims which we learned one of them is disabled.”
