Prosecutor asks 10 years for Fmr Singer Atilla Taş for creating an agenda with his RTs and posts

10 year sentence asked for former Singer Atilla Taş

”In the indictment prepared for the media structure of Gulenist Terror Organization (FETO), former singer, columnist Atilla Taş was also sought to be punished for the “membership of terrorist organization”. Media personas Nihat Doğan and Erol Köse’s speech in a television program has been in indictment as an evidence. Indictment stated that Atilla Taş is a Turkish pop music artist and he occasionally worked as an presenter and that he was also a columnist  in Meydan Newspaper, which was shut down under the investigation of the FETO-PDY ( Gülenist Terros Organization-Parallel State Structure). In the indictment stated  that Atilla Taş came up with the posts (social media) he had shared after the Gezi protests, and after increasing the number of followers on Twitter, it’s alleged that Taş created an agenda for both inside and outside the country by reposting and retweeting the posts of FETO’s members. In the indictment, Taş’s dozens of social media post from 2011 to 2016, and columns in the Meydan Newspaper, which was shut down under the investigation of the FETO between 2015 and 2016, were also shown as evidence.”
