Acc. to Bloomberh HT news, Hakan Atabas, CEO of Geliyoo stated that many countries worked on alternatives to Google like Yandex (Russia) , Baidu (China) etc. Similar attemps in Turkey were not successful to various reasons and he asked “why geliyoo would not be a Turkish national search engine?”
